TUESDAY NIGHT

The Reverend Dr. Peter M. Wherry is a native of Buffalo, New York. He received his early education in the schools of the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, graduating with honors from the St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute. He earned with honors, the Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and Gerontol-ogy from Virginia Union University and also the Master of Divinity degree from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union both in Richmond, VA. He earned the Doctor of Ministry degree from the Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. As part of his doctoral studies, he traveled to El Salvador, Central America to study Christianity in Martyrial Perspective. He engaged in El Salvador with political leaders and theologians including one of the fathers of Liberation Theology, Dr. Jon Sobrino. Dr. Wherry also holds a Certificate in Church Management award-ed jointly by ITC (Interdenominational Theological Center) in Atlanta, GA and The Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology in Richmond, VA.

REV. DR. KIMBERLY MOORE

Dr. Kimberly Moore is a native of Abbeville, South Carolina. She is a graduate of Lander University in Greenwood, SC where she received her B.S. Degree in Business Administration. She is a graduate of Gardner- Webb School of Divinity, where she received her Masters of Divinity degree, in Pastoral Studies, and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Ministries. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Dr. Moore is the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church of Gastonia, NC. Her election to the office marks a historic event in Gaston County. Dr. Moore is the first female to serve as a Senior Pastor in the Gaston County Baptist Association. She gives God all the glory for the favor that is upon her life. She has a heart after God and He has given her to the church to serve as a messenger and an under-shepherd to His people.

REV. CLAUDE ALEXANDER

THURSDAY NIGHT

For over 36 years, Claude Alexander has sought to serve God and community. Having accepted the call to ministry at the age of 17, he endeavored to prepare himself by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Morehouse College (1985), a Master of Divinity Degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (1988), and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (2004). Bishop Alexander has served as the Senior Pastor of The Park Church in Charlotte, North Carolina for the past 27 years. Under his leadership, The Park Church has grown from one local congregation of 600 members to a global ministry of thousands with three locations and weekly international outreach.
